Member Service Representative

If you are a dependable, organized person with a minimum of one year customer service experience and possess office administration skills we would like to talk to you!

What would you be doing?
You will be using your customer service talents to help current and prospective customers over the phone by explaining features and benefits of their insurance coverage and helping them with payments and changes to their coverage. You will also support the department by performing a number of administrative tasks such as scanning, filing and data entry.

Your job in a nutshell:
You will spend a majority of your time on the phone interacting with members via inbound calls.  These members are part of financial institutions and employer groups. You will process transactions and reply to inquiries about products and services, as well as providing a wide variety of administrative support. We are a small company, so you may also be asked to cross-train with other department members or perform other assignments that are outside your primary job function.

You're a person who:
  • Has a minimum of 1 year previous Customer Service experience
  • Practices active listening
  • Is very organized and self-motivated
  • Can use a computer system to track and gather information to troubleshoot customer issues
  • Can communicate clearly and effectively
  • Has an orientation towards problem-solving
  • Has excellent attention to detail and can learn and apply new concepts quickly
  • Is very dependable and adaptable
  • Can work full-time, 7AM to 4 PM
  • Can obtain your Life, Accident and Health license in six months (we pay for everything)
  • Is bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred, but not required)

What’s in it for you?
The rate for the position is $14.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending upon your qualifications and experience. Your compensation package also includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k), and a generous vacation and paid holiday schedule.
